Date: Fall, 2017
Location: Williamsburg, VA
Client: HughesNet
Event:
The HughesNet Summit is a retailers’ meeting for Hughes’ consumer service of satellite internet. Dealers and agents of the service are invited to a 3-day-long event where they receive company updates, promotions for new locations and selling incentives, along with feedback and networking opportunities.
Challenge:
Roughly the same group of people return year after year to this event, so we are faced with the challenge of keeping the weekend entertaining and fresh. This is also a time where HughesNet attempts to strengthen its relationships with dealers by showing them a good time and demonstrating appreciation for their retailers.
Solution:
The most recent Summit took place in historic Williamsburg, so we designed a hard set of a colonial town with a vanishing perspective and a cobblestone walkway to the front of the stage. We projected a sky, clouds, logos and live scenery onto the backdrop, and we hired a Thomas Jefferson impersonator who spoke of his experience “selling the idea of a new country.”
We also produced video bumpers for presenters, custom graphics for presentations, original videos, and more.
